ISLAMABAD – As reported by news outlets, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced recently of their successful efforts to restore at least 74% of streetlights and 80% of traffic lights to illuminate the streets.

In an official statement by the civic body, lights were restored and newly installed in the following areas; Sector F, Sector G, Sector I, Jinnah Avenue, Srinagar Highway, Margalla Road and various underpasses, bridges, commercial areas and roads. The CDA that this initiative was an effort to ‘make the country’s capital a beautiful city’. The CDA now aims to maintain the electricity consumed from all the newly installed / restored lights.
