LAHORE –  In a recent online conference headed by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar regarding the progress of various low-cost housing projects, he has given his approval on ten housing schemes to start construction within Raiwind.

According to him, the Punjab government has recognized more than 130 locations across the province under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s low-cost housing schemes; 54 locations have been chosen for the first phase of construction, while 32 locations would be focused a priority basis. The ten locations approved by the CM include Dera Ghazi Khan, Khanewal, Khusab, Mianwali, Chiniot, Sargodha, etc. So far, the Punjab Government has allocated PKR 3 billion for this program.

For the purchase of a house, an applicant will pay PKR 143,000 with an additional loan from the Bank of Punjab. The monthly installment will be about PKR 10,000.
