On the 2nd of December, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved the RS. 38 billion budgets needed for the optic fiber cross-border project with China, as reported by various news sources.
In a conference headed by Deputy Chairman Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, the CDWP forwarded the project to the Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) for further approval. This cross-country project is intended to improve internet connectivity between Northern and Southern borders of the country
