LAHORE – The Punjab government has restored the Metro & Speedo mass transit systems for use by the public for inter-city travel after restricting services from access due to the ongoing pandemic.

According to details shared, the two bus services were restricted due to the partial 22-day lockdown enacted in response to the ongoing third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic; the ones most affected were women who travel for work. However, the Punjab government recently lifted such restriction so as to resume transit and travel while ensuring SOPs in areas afflicted from the disease.
