ABAD implores federal government to acknowledge price hike of building materials

KARACHI – As reported by news sources, chairman of Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) Fayyaz Ilyas implores the federal government to acknowledge the sudden increase in price of building materials such as steel and cement.
The chairman stated that the price hike would severely restrict the progress the government is trying to make in building and providing economical housing units to low income earning civilians. He also stated that this hike would prove to be counter-intuitive to the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme and make construction economically challenging during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
