Sialkot Environmental Project Inaugurated By PM

SIALKOT – Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated the Clean Green project initiated in Sialkot, as reported by multiple news sources.
As described in their official site, the Clean Green Project is a national campaign designed to address five areas of environmental maintenance; solid waste management, liquid waste management, safe drinking water, plantation and total sanitation. The Sialkot initiative, worth PKR 17 billion, is intended to improve the city’s cleanliness standards as well as to ensure and maintain the vegetation and natural beauty of the city. The project is also intended to expand the local workforce, as well as enhance the country’s GDP.
